Using genomic information to improve human health, understand our environment, protect indigenous plants and animals, and boost primary production requires bioinformatics – the software tools and analytic methods that help us interpret genomic data.
Bioinformatics training
Genomics Aotearoa builds bioinformatics capability in the Aotearoa research community through training and sharing new techniques.
We run regular workshops and training programmes, working with the Bioinformatics Capability project team, NeSI and a group of talented Training associates.
The Genomics Aotearoa/NeSI training programme will take you from a novice to an expert in the latest genomic techniques. And what's more the training won't participants a cent.
Check out our upcoming workshops on the training events page, and subscribe to our updates to receive advance notice to register at future events through our newsletters.
As well as links to the training resources offered on the Genomics Aotearoa/NeSI training programme page, other bioinformatics resources can be found on Genomics Aotearoa's Github pages: https://github.com/GenomicsAotearoa
